SMASH the mirror and break the PALMREADER'Shand...
the sky suddenly gave birth to the sun's rays as they gracefully touched the glass hanging on to dear life in the window sills. as if they were saying 'to grab your own spot', they shunned the light making it smash into some brick wall or the vine infested sidewalk. but walking upon the strange rock was roxanne as if she knew what it was used for. too bad all the cars that you were usually supposed to dodge were slowing melting away in the abandoned road. orbs were fixed on the atmosphere while nares breathed in what used to be where the two-legged creatures roamed.
insane time over. i can't believe i come to these love sick lands! roxy boasted in her mind. don't get me wrong, she wouldn't be considered the type who spits at everything in sight, but love or even likeness wouldn't be the foremost issue in her young life. but who can survive in crap like this alone? snow was practically hiding everything behind a cold, white, blanket and roxy wasn't cutting it any slack even though it was it's season to romp around. and maybe bully around a couple of chipmunks. her bay pelt glimmered brightly and it was such a shame that she didn't have a pretty horn to match. shivers played tug-a-war at roxy's spine as she did her best at not showing it. after all what would the ever so snobby boys think of a shaking maniac?

The ivory stallion walked gently across the unknown streets of Manhatten. Now, known as the Manhatten Claim. He blinked. This place was different. Why had he come here? He didn't know. Maybe to see how this side of the world was going. He missed his parents. He missed his home. Why did he leave? He had too. He was old enough to go out into the world and explore. He wanted to return home because he missed the place where he could enjoy company of both equines. Horses and unicorns alike. No just living in this world where anger and hatred ruled over. He disliked it.
He breathed in deeply and continued walking along. He saw an equine in the distance. He stared. He continued see all that far. He walked toward the figure. He was still a ways off. How much longer? He was tired. The sun was shining through the clouds casting a beautiful color along Manhatten. He smiled. Beautiful weather. He smiled. It was simply incredible. Amazing sight.
He missed his home. It was always cool and the sun always seemed to be shinning. It was quite lovely in his opinion. He reached the mare. She was an interesting character from what he could tell. She had a different coloring and she had mixed breed within her. It was different. He was a mix himself, but with unicorn and Lippizzander within him. His body shape came from his mother. His father had only given him his immortal abilities. He didn't like the idea of living forever. It was...forever. He would never. He would roam the earth for the rest of his days. By himself unless he fell in love with a female unicorn, then he would be able to have someone with him...at least.

SMASH the mirror and break the PALMREADER'Shand...
her banner flapped against her boa as she jumped off her front hooves repeatedly. playing around was a stupid habit for her. ever since walking away from her mother's womb it suddenly kicked in she could never eat her nicotine pills and make it disappear. but her attention quickly changed to a still form. the unknown figure was far enough to be considered unrecognizable. a mailbox? too tall. a pole? too wide. what the hell is it? roxanne grumbled. she was usually a thoughtful and understanding equine but negative moods could easily get her off that track. she perked her slender auds as she lowered her cranium in a useless attempt to find out it's true identity. her slim legs caressed forward while she trusted her nares to fill her in. when the results came it was a testosterone driven stag, mix breed as she was, mainly Lippizzander, taller than her, and it was an equine... with an odd twist. immortal? challenged? who knew?
without caring for what her mind thought about this new stranger her physique reluctantly strutted to wards him. a lover already comes to her rescue? not likely but possibly. oh, how badly she wanted to introduce herself, but the twisted universe made the males in control. making the first move was literally unheard of for her. besides he might have his eye on some hot little filly next door.

He blinked. His deep brown orbs concentrated on the figure in the distance. It was an equine most defintely. He inhaled the air around him. The equine had the smell of a mare. As he drew closer, he saw no horn. So, it was a horse. He smiled slightly. He was close enough to make out details. A very beautiful mare; mixed with different breeds of horses. Seem like a beautiful and kind character. He would a meet someone new today. He stopped. The mare was standing right in front of him.
He blinked. It was truely a beautiful mare. She was a gentle color of a bay with a white stocking. He inclined his head gently toward her and smiled. "Hello, I'm Starlight," he spoke gently. He wondered if he would met someone who would surprise him in some way. He breathed in deeply; inhaling the polluted air into his healthy lungs. He stared gently to the orbs of the beautiful mare in front of him. He felt a certain aura coming from her. He smiled. He liked her.
"What brings you to this part of the world?" he asked gently. He shifted his back leg and stood still from there on. He watched the mare standing before him. What would happen next? He wondered to himself.
