Walking with easy into the terra three hundred years had taught Bella not to rush into such a place. The sun shone bright off of her pinto pelt, white look like new fallen snow and black the moment after midnight. She enjoyed the sunlight. Part of her liked being alone, it was freedom in a way freedom from all the drama that comes with a herd, but then again being with a herd was safe. She did not like the idea of this petty war between the horses. Bella would not tell anyoen how she left about the war, some would it was treason. She listened to the wind traveled acrossed the field. What had once stood here in the time of man? Bella wandered. Was it a farm field or a twon or maybe a city. Bella knew what they looked like she had traveled through some ruins once but she figtured that most were gone. Part of her wanted to know what it was like to live among man. She had stayed hidden like most of the unicorns. She would wait for someone, she had never called out into the unknown you never knew who would answer.

The white stallion walked through an interesting piece of land. Part of it contained, grass and the rest of was concrete. He didn't understand why this land was so odd. He blinked. He was a horse in the distance. He started walking toward the horse. He smelled the air. The horse was a female. He breathed in deeply and listened to his hooves make noise as it touched the ground underneath him. He wondered how it made such an interesting noise. He smiled to himself.
He had begun to travel on his own for quite sometime. His parents allowed him ten years ago. He could have left sooner, but he wanted to stay with his original for longer time. The mare was in distance of him. He stopped when she was a few feet away from him. He blinked. "Hello there," he said. He stood there watching her wondering when she would notice him. The Devil is my name and I search for a soul to claim.
Teufel waltzed gently upon the crumbling rumble beneath his dark marble hooves. His baroque stylized head hung at a perfect arch balancing a foot long spike seemingly looking to be forged of a white unbending steel was bowed down toward the ground. He was rather young for a unicorn, he was only a youthful forty-five. His pelt had changed just as fast as his horse counterparts. Fading from its near pitch black state at his birth to its brilliant glittering pearl color. Had he been one of those pitiful creature known as a horse he would have been of the highest pedigree of an Austrian bred Lipizzaner. He had been traveling for a few hours now at a light waltz gaited canter causing the sun to make his coat glisten and gleam with the way the sun rays hit his body. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Teufel slowed his his pace down from his majestic waltz of a canter to the amiable steps of a surefooted walk. His head was still held in it's nearly perfect arch with his horn standing at a threatening position at front. He was a rather gorgeous stallion his mother had told him so. He had watched his hateful and lustful father force himself upon his mother. Yes Lucifer was truly a dog to his mother and the other harlot's that man kept. He had been attentionally named after his father except with a German context to devil. Granted he wasn't like his father. He wasn't a complete rapist. He could be very aggressive toward a mare almost to the point it seemed that he would snap and become like his father, but something always held him back. Maybe it was his poor mother's memory that haunted his soul tainting it. He watched her execution and felt no remorse, maybe this is what held him back? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Teufel angrily tossed his head causing his long thick twisted locks to waltz through the air. He had been a loner for a majority of his life trying to silence the possibility of becoming fully like his namesake. But today was different... he could feel it in his bones. As he walked on slowly passing crumbling buildings and decapitated walls his nose caught a whiff of an interesting perfume. So there was a female near by? He bound off in a passage like trot dancing almost as if he was born a fawn. He slowed his haggard steps when he spotted the dark pinto colored mare and a fellow pearl hued stallion. So a war was about to begin?
Hello there. His pearl hued auds tipped forward at the sound. The stallion obviously beat him to the mare but he had yet to win her. He approached them softly his stones making a soft clank upon the crumbling stone beneath his hooves. He swished his thick fully white tail lightly. He stood a respected distance away from the mare and stallion. He gave them both a soft bow and nickered in an almost haunting baritone.
"Hello, sir and madame, I am Teufel. May I ask whom you are?"

[[Stars and Stripes Forever]]
The white hybird stood there oddly as he waited for the mare to reply. He listened carefully as he heard hoof beats coming closer toward him. He blinked. Would it be another stallion coming here to challenge him for the mare? He turn his broad body sidways and saw a handsome white stallion with a horn. A unicorn. He sighed. He prayed that there wouldn't be an arguement between them. He disliked the entire idea of fighting. He would continuingly wonder why horses and unicorns continued get along. He was an example of when they did.
He knew something would happen. He prayed that nothing bad would happen. He looked over at the stallion and blinked. He inclined his head toward the stallion. "It's a pleasure to meet you Teufel. My name is Starlight," he replied. He looked over at the mare and wondered what her name was. He didn't get that information about her, apart from her enjoying the lovely weather they were having. He stood tall holding his body frame strong. He didn't want to give the wrong impression to the unicorn.
"What brings you here Teufel?" he asked. He blinked. The air was contiminated with pollution from the humans. He never had a face to face experience with a human. Truth be told, he had never seen a human. He was a born before the extinction of humans, but he was in a place where no human could find their herd. Horse and unicorn alike. He breathed in deeply and watched the stallion near him. He knew unicorns and horses were not very close in this part of the world. His old herd accepted each other as individuals, of course. That wouldn't happen here. [/blockquote][/color]

Teufel wasn't one for casual chatting but it seems the dear pinto mare was holding her tongue in the presence of two stallions. Teufel turned his ears toward both of them and listened to see if either would make a move or a sound. The other stallions song came waltzing to his ears. "It's a pleasure to meet you Teufel. My name is Starlight." Starlight, such a feminine name. Teufel watched the unbeknown hybrid through a keen hawk like stare. He wasn't going to let some pretty pony take affection to a unicorn mare. After all horses needed to stay with their own kind. No need to come to his.
Teufel turned his head slightly away from the hybrid casting his gaze upon the pinto unicorn mare. There was an air about her, but he couldn't place what it was. It almost seemed like she had a secret, but what could it ever be. Teufel watched her for a moment longer before his pearl ears tipped in the other stallions direction. "What brings you here Teufel?" Teufel turned his baroque stylized head toward the hybrid stallion and nickered sternly.
"I am merely searching out for members of a new herd. I rather not be under the current king of my kind. Plus, I want a Harlem of my own. What brings you out here equine, do you not know that unicorns are rather cruel to your kind?"
Teufel was a rather complex creature. He was like most unicorns in the sense that he treated his horse counterparts with scorn for making themselves slaves to the humans before the pitiful creatures died out. He had seen the humans, but he couldn't remember them. He had nearly been caught out of hiding when he was merely a yearling. Of course he merely impaled the man who tried to harm him by ramming his horn through the mans chest puncturing the heart. He then returned to hiding waiting for the humans to drop dead. Now he was a fairly older stallion in his 40s and he grew lustful toward the female kind.

[[Bravery's a Deed]]
He blinked. He never understood what kind this world was turning into. The horses and unicorns were always fighting. What happened to peace and freedom? It didn't make any sense anymore. He really wanted everyone to be happy and get along in the world. He disliked the whole idea of having violence in such a beautiful world. Well...not necessarily beautiful. It needs work. Everyone needed work. They need to learn how to understand that they came here to live together in peace. Obviously, it didn't work so well with the humans.
He held his head tall as he observed the unicorn mare and the unicorn stallion. Teufel probably thinks that he was a unless piece of animal. He blinked again. This world is crazy. What was he going to do, now? He was attempting to create peace. It was failing miserably. "What kind of herd? One with just unicorns?" he quirked an eyebrow. Even though he seemed weak. He knew how to fight. He knew how to handle a certain situation even though it didn't look like it. He looked at the unicorn stallion, then the mare. He sighed. The world was getting ridiculous.
He shifted his back leg. It was starting to bother him. He didn't mind the pain. He could take it. He blinked. He wondered why the mare hadn't said anything since he walked up to her. He wondered why she was so shy. He wouldn't say anything. He figured the unicorn would try to inflict pain on him. He didn't want to start something. He never learned how to love. He didn't care about mares. He never really found anyone who interested him. He lived life alone, and he didn't mind at all.
